Meet Chrissie...
After qualifying as a Registered Adult Nurse in 2009, Chrissie worked on the surgical wards and emergency department for several years; developing a particular interest in skin and wound care.
She worked as a Specialist Nurse for a private wound care company and within a Harley Street based aesthetics clinic before launching The Medical Skin Clinic Brentwood in 2016 and then the Newmarket branch in 2018.
In the meantime Chrissie qualified as a non-medical prescriber in 2017 and furthered her education in dermatology.
In 2022 Chrissie and the team registered the clinic with the Care Quality Comission to enable them to offer medical and surgical services.
In 2023 Chrissie passed her DOPs assessment for Minor Surgery and began her MsC in Clinical Dermatology which is ongoing. In 2024 MedHub was born to serve the Newmarket population with an exceptional private, multi-Clinician Hub for all their Healthcare needs. Chrissie is passonate about serving the community and offering a service that reflects the old family doctor model of healthcare - Regular Clinicians who know their patients well and make them feel at home in the clinic.

In her spare time, Chrissie enjoys time with her family, watercolour painting, dressmaking and cooking for friends and family.
She is a keen campaigner for women's isssues including domestic abuse and healthcare inequalities.

Realy impressed - Chrissie was super professional and honest with me about options, benfits and risks and managed my expectations and fully explored my concerns and rational for coming in. She gave me lots of time to ask questions. I didn't feel unduly encouraged, if anything I was given plenty of spcae to think about what feels right for me and signposted to do my own homework before coming to a decision either way in a way which was quite sobering. I didn't mention to her that I was a medical professional so unintentionally having been "under cover" I can say with certainty the approach and advice given was 10/10. Would highly recommend.
